On October 12th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Beiben Yuchai Engine Project jointly built by Yuchai, Beiqi Heavy Duty Truck, Northern Venture, and United Power Quartet was held in the new planning area of ​​the Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industry Park. The ceremony was chaired by Xu Delin, a standing committee member of Baotou Municipal Committee. Yuchai Fang’s leaders who attended the foundation laying ceremony included Wu Qiwei, Zhong Yuwei, Liang Qingyan, Wang Limin, Lin Zhiqiang, and Xiao Xiaohong. 
It is reported that the project plans to occupy an area of ​​460 acres and be constructed in three phases. It will mainly produce YC6A, YC6L, YC6MK, and YC6K series diesel and gas engines for vehicles. After the project is completed, it can achieve an annual production capacity of 100,000 units.
The cooperation between Yuchai shares and Beiben Heavy Duty Trucks can rely on the domestic and international market and brand influence of Beiben Heavy Duty Trucks and Weapons Group to create new breakthroughs and competitive advantages for Yuchai in the engine field.
