Jinling Petrochemical's Refining Unit 1 has multiple sets of gas generating equipment. In the past, the surplus gas was directly burned. In order to make full use of resources, the ministry decided to set up a 12,000 m3/h gas recovery unit and produce liquid hydrocarbons that can be used as raw materials for n-butane units. After the equipment was completed and put into operation in May 2012, raw materials were insufficient, the production load was less than 50%, and energy consumption was also high. In order to solve these difficult problems, a technical transformation of the plant was carried out. At the same time, three types of residual gas, ie, low-pressure gas, hydrodeethanated top gas, and diesel-added dry gas, were also used as raw materials. In the design, 9 kinds have been increased to the current 12 kinds. The problem of shortage of raw materials has been solved. The equipment processing load has been greatly improved, and the light hydrocarbon yield has exceeded 70%.
