Chicago Still & Box on 38th Street 5-12-12

On Saturday, Josh Boyajian shared an update about a fire he witnessed in Chicago. He wrote: "Tonight, I made my way into the city to 3318 W 38th Street. Upon arrival, Engine 65 and Truck 52 were already on scene, responding to a serious fire in sector 1 on the first and second floors. As the situation escalated, Engine 109 positioned itself and deployed a second line to the second floor to help control the blaze. Here are some photos I captured during the incident."

The scene was intense, with flames clearly visible from the street. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further. It’s always a sobering reminder of the risks that our emergency responders face every day.
