On the morning of September 26, the 3,200 cubic meters of liquefied gas ship built by Taizhou Wuzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. was successfully launched. This is the first liquefied gas ship manufactured by a private enterprise in China.
On February 7 last year, “Wuzhou†signed an agreement with the world-renowned shipbuilding company, Norwegian Scogan Shipping Group, to build two liquefied gas carriers with a total price of 15 million US dollars from “Wuzhouâ€, and then “Scogan†The order was added to 15 ships with a total value of $500 million.
It is understood that liquefied gas carriers have higher requirements in materials, equipment and process technology than conventional cargo ships because of the characteristics of low temperature, high pressure, flammable, explosive, corrosive and chemical reaction.
