Kia Recalls Four Problems with Three Cars Involving China
The Korean government department announced on September 1 that due to defects in the welding of wires inside the car that caused some of the lights to malfunction, Kia Motors decided to recall 1.8272 million defective cars. The recall involves four models: Zühr, Sorento, Mohave and K7. Kia Motors stated that the owner of the problem car can enjoy free maintenance service at the Kia Motor Service Center from September 2. Owners who have already repaired the relevant issues can reimburse Kia Motors for repairs. Unlike several recent recalls by foreign auto companies that do not involve the Chinese market, Kia Motors stated that the three defective cars of Soul, Sorento and K7 have been sold to China, and Mohave has just been introduced to the market and has not yet been sold in China.
