Wuyuan Bay has become China's largest yacht trading hub

Following the sale of 21 boats in the first half of the Wuyuan Bay Yacht Harbor, with sales of 210 million yuan, the number of boats sold in the second half of the year has also exceeded the number and category. According to statistics, from July to December 2010 (excluding the sales of foreign merchants from Xiamen Boat Show), the total number of boats sold reached 63, and spare parts amounted to several hundred thousand yuan, with sales of 240 million yuan. These boats include 26 yachts over 35 feet (including 9 yachts over 60 feet), 6 sailboats, and 31 small boats (including speedboats, fishing boats, and motor boats) under 35 feet. The total number of boats exceeds that of the first half of the year. It has grown by a full 2 times. In particular, it is worth mentioning that the proportion of ship types sold has changed, and small boats, mainly water recreation sports, account for more than half of Other types of yachts. Parts sales are also on the rise. This data shows that the local market has gradually matured, and it also indicates that small and medium-sized boats are the mainstream of future boat sales.

It is understood that nearly three-quarters of the boats sold from Wuyuan Bay are customers in Xiamen and surrounding areas, while the rest of the boats are sold in Shanghai, Hainan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong. The proportion of families has increased significantly from the first half of the year. Buyers are still dominated by companies, but the proportion of private buyers is significantly higher than in the first half.

Cai Zhibin, general manager of Xiamen Luqiao Yacht Development Co., Ltd. disclosed that Wuyuanwan yacht sailing harbor can achieve such excellent sales results in the second half of the year. It is inextricably linked with its unique port positioning and the success of the third Xiamen International Boat Show. Wuyuanwan is committed to building China's largest distribution center for yachts and spare parts. It has attracted 29 yachts and spare parts dealers from all over the country, as well as a number of merchants who clearly indicate their intentions. Since the Wuyuan Bay Boat Bonded Warehouse was put into use in April 2010, it has successfully sold seven imported yachts from Italy, the United Kingdom, and France. China's first Spanish Rodman Muse 50-foot yacht has now entered Wuyuan Bay Boat Bonded Warehouse. Super yachts such as Hudson's 105-foot and Azimut 105-foot have also made their debut in Wuyuan Bay. The Azimut 105 is also the first luxury yacht to be sold over 100 feet from Wuyuan Bay. In addition, the 2010 Xiamen Yacht Show successfully sold 36 boats with a total turnover of 129 million. After the show, 11 boats with a total price of nearly 80 million were sold. All these data indicate that Wuyuanwan has become China's largest distribution center for yachts and spare parts.

As China's largest yacht sailing sales center, Wuyuanwan yacht sailing harbor is in the process of leaping development. At present, 600 yacht berths and 60,000 square meters of yacht industry buildings have been planned and will be built. Including yacht theme exhibition hall, yacht exhibition area, yacht professional bonded warehouse, yacht club club, yacht business office, etc., as well as dock facilities, will provide the most thoughtful one-stop service for yacht-related companies and individuals settled in Wuyuan Bay. We believe that Wuyuan Bay will gradually become China’s pivotal boat sales platform, which will strongly promote the development of the Chinese yacht industry.
