According to the data released by the China Automobile Association, the output of domestic heavy trucks in January 2011 was 106,508 units, an increase of 23.46%, and the sales volume was 85,311 units, an increase of 8.72%.

China Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, FAW Jiefang and Sinotruk were among the top group companies in China's medium and heavy truck industry. Dongfeng Commercial Vehicles performed strongly in January 2011, with sales of 19,935 units and market share of 23.37%, an increase of 4.65 percentage points. China National Heavy Duty Truck sold 18,002 vehicles with a market share of 21.10%, a slight drop from 2010. The sales volume of FAW Jiefang was 16,823 units with a market share of 19.72%, a decrease of 5 percentage points compared with 2010.

The second group of Shaanxi Automobile and Futian Auman had a tie in January 2011, and their sales were comparable. Shaanxi Automobile sold 6090 vehicles and Auman sold 6019 vehicles. The market share of the two companies was 7.14% and 7.06%, respectively, while the market share of the two companies in 2010 was 10.95% and 10.22%, respectively, and the market share of these two companies fell more severely. Sales volume of SAIC Iveco Hongyan was 3,916, with a market share of 4.59%. Compared with 2010, the market share of 2.66% increased by nearly 2%. JAC's growth was even faster with sales of 3872 units, an increase of 137.4% over the same period of last year. The market share was 4.54%, an increase of 2.46 percentage points over 2010, and it also exceeded Hualing, becoming the eighth-largest sales volume. Valin sold 3,206 vehicles, an increase of 28.09%, and its market share was 3.76%.

As the new army of the industry, the Universiade Heavy Trucks entered the heavy truck TOP10 for the first time. In January, the sales volume was 550 units, while Guangqi Hino, which was more concerned about, ranked 16th and sold 153 units.

Looking at the performance of the heavy-duty truck market in January 2011, it can be said that the First Group Army was stable and the Third Group Army was rapidly approaching the Second Group Army.
