Asia's first record-breaking 35-cubic-meter excavator is too heavy
On June 27th, Asia's largest 35-meter excavator was officially put into production, marking a major breakthrough in the region's mining industry. Prior to this, China and the rest of Asia had not managed to surpass the 30-cubic-meter capacity, making this development a true Asian record. According to reports, the excavator is capable of digging a large pit that is 4.5 meters deep, showcasing its impressive power and efficiency.
This advanced machine is designed for use in large open-pit mines and will be deployed in operations involving iron ore and other non-ferrous metals. The Shenhua Group has already placed substantial orders for the equipment, indicating strong confidence in its capabilities. The excavator features a maximum digging radius of 24 meters and can reach a depth of 4.345 meters, making it one of the most powerful machines of its kind.
It is expected that the excavator will officially go into operation in February next year. This new technology is set to revolutionize mining operations in Asia, improving productivity and reducing the need for multiple machines in large-scale projects. With its cutting-edge design and high performance, this excavator represents a significant step forward for the mining industry in the region.
