Hubei Dangyang spends 5 billion yuan to build Guangong Cultural Tourism City

Dangyang City, Hubei Province will spend 5 billion yuan to build the Guangong Culture and Tourism City. It is expected to receive 3 million tourists each year after it is completed, adding a new engine for the “three-nation cultural theme tour” that has not been heated in recent years.

Dangyang is located in the ancient battlefield of the famous three kingdoms of Yichang City in Hubei Province. Guanling of Dangyang is also the imperial tomb of Guan Gong. It was built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and is one of the three major Guangong worship sites in the country. The history of the Dangyang folk rituals Guan Gong has been around for a long time. Every year, festivals and various folklore performances are held. This tradition lasted for thousands of years until today.

Last year, Dangyang Guandi Temple was also listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. The Dangyang Guangong Cultural Tourism City currently under construction has a total investment of RMB 5 billion and covers an area of ​​1,630 acres. After it is completed, it will receive 3 million tourists each year. It is estimated that a tax of 100 million yuan will be realized and 2500 people will be employed for resettlement.
