Six millionth supercharger off the assembly line in Wuxi Cummins

On November 3rd, Wuxi Cummins Turbocharged Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Cummins, Wuxi) announced that the company's 6 million turbochargers were off-line and the company's newly commissioned supercharger production line was also put into production. Since its establishment in 1996, Wuxi Cummins has achieved an annual output of more than one million turbochargers with a high growth rate, accounting for nearly half of the domestic market share. The 6 million turbocharger off the assembly line is another major milestone in the development of the company.

The robotic arm is used to automatically detect the turbocharger angle, and the image recognition system is used for error prevention."

Wuxi Cummins is jointly invested by Cummins Turbo Technology Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Power Engineering Co., Ltd., and mainly produces Holset turbochargers for automobiles, construction machinery, generator sets, and ships. At present, major domestic customers include Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., FAW Xichai, Deutz FAW Dachai, Dongfeng Cummins, CNHTC, Weichai, Chongqing Cummins, Xi'an Cummins, SAIC Fiat Hongyan and others. In addition, Wuxi Cummins was approved as a supplier by internationally renowned engine manufacturers such as Volvo, Scania, Iveco, Komatsu Cummins, Daewoo, and Daimler.
