On May 26, 2017, the first domestic tire recycling industry fund was launched in Zhejiang Longyou.
It is reported that the industry fund will promote the transformation and upgrading of the waste tire treatment industry by means of modern finance and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of the industry.
Zhejiang Leo Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Carbon & Silver Internet Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Liyuan New Materials Co., Ltd. are the main sponsors of this fund.
According to reports, unlike the traditional financing model of waste tire processing enterprises to bank credit, the funding end of the business side has adopted a new financial model.
The Longyou Government is responsible for guiding the funds. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Zhejiang Branch, Zhejiang Leo Holding Group, and Zhejiang Carbon & Silver Internet Technology Co., Ltd. jointly established the Waste Tire Treatment Fund.
The fund invests in the waste tire treatment project of Zhejiang Liyuan New Materials Co., Ltd. in the form of “shares + debts”.
At the same time, the investment side Liyuan new materials signed cooperation agreements with Hangzhou Zhongce, Sanlux Rubber, Taizhou Kangda and other rubber demanders to form an ecological closed loop of funds, technology, projects and market benign interaction.
On the whole, this model is formed by the government, bank financial institutions, environmentally-listed companies, professional platform companies, tire processing companies, and product purchasers.
"We hope to change the financing difficulties of small and medium-sized enterprises in the waste tire processing industry by setting up industrial funds, and achieve the goal of 'supporting excellence and strengthening stronger'."
