House fire in Spring Grove, 7-17-16

This report comes from Jeff Rudolph:

July 17, 2016
Lightning from Sunday morning’s storm hit a home on Rudolph Court in Spring Grove. Fire crews arrived quickly and were able to contain and extinguish the fire before it could spread further. The incident was classified as a "full still," meaning no significant damage occurred. Since the area doesn’t have any fire hydrants, water tenders from nearby departments, including McHenry Township FPD, were called in to support the local Spring Grove Fire Department. Jeff Rudolph

The photos show the efforts of the firefighters and the equipment used during the incident. It's a great example of how communities come together in times of emergency.
