Chicago working fire, 11-19-16

This is from Larry Shapiro:

Here are a few photos from a working fire that took place on Saturday morning, November 19th, 2016, at 2310 W. Jackson Boulevard. By the time I arrived, the fire was already under control. It seems there was a small fire on the roof, and I heard that roofers had been working on the building earlier that day. One firefighter was taken to the hospital by Ambulance 44 due to an injury sustained during the incident.

It's always interesting to see how quickly the fire department responds and how they manage these incidents. The presence of multiple units, including engines, ladders, and an ambulance, shows the level of preparedness. I snapped these shots as I walked through the area, trying to capture the aftermath and the efforts of the crews who were on scene. These images give a glimpse into the real-life work of our first responders.
