What are the faults in the control circuit of the EQ1140G diesel vehicle exhaust brake? How to rule out?
A clutch switch for accelerating the switch is provided in the control circuit. When the driver depresses the accelerator pedal or steps on the pedal, the exhaust brake is automatically released to avoid forgetting to release the exhaust brake due to the driver's negligence. Symptom: The exhaust brake solenoid valve does not work. Fault check: (1) Firstly, open the exhaust brake switch. If the indicator light is not high, check whether the power fuse is in good condition. If the indicator light is on, the power supply is not faulty. (2) Open the exhaust brake switch to make the exhaust brake work, check the accelerator pedal first, because the accelerator pedal switch is the grounding point of the entire electrical control system, so unplug the wire on the accelerator pedal switch, If the exhaust brake is active, it indicates that the accelerator switch is not properly adjusted or damaged. If the accelerator pedal switch is intact, check the clutch switch. Gently press the clutch pedal, can hear the clutch switch to open or close the sound, such as check the clutch pedal because of the return spring damage or improper adjustment, will directly affect the normal work of the exhaust brake. (3) Check the voltage across the solenoid valve. If there is no voltage, it indicates that there is a fault in the clutch circuit. If there is voltage, remove the grounding plug of the solenoid valve and remove the ground. If the solenoid valve does not work, the solenoid valve is damaged. Troubleshooting: Replace damaged electrical components and adjust working stroke.
