Zhejiang held the first auction sale of the provincial platform emission rights market
In Zhejiang Province, the first phase of the government’s first phase of the electronic bid for sulfur dioxide emission rights indicators was held. After six rounds of intense on-site electronic bidding, six companies in the province competed for 235 tons of sulfur dioxide at a total price of 2.595175 million yuan. This e-bidding is the first time that the provincial-level platform launched a bid for the pollution emission market. The reserve price was RMB 5,000/ton, and the service life was five years. It was linked with the regulations of the Zhejiang Province's emission permit system. Companies that have not competed for the required indicators will automatically enter the next phase of the e-bidding list. This bid marks that the Zhejiang unified emission trading platform has been initially completed and put into operation. Substantial progress has been made through the market mechanism and the cross-regional allocation of sulfur dioxide emission rights indicators.
