Restricted purchase policy

Market differentiation is obvious

According to official data, since the implementation of the purchase restriction order, the actual growth of medium and small passenger cars in Guangzhou has reached 72,000, and the current holding capacity has reached 1.766 million. The average monthly growth rate for the regulation and control period is 7,200, and the demand for approximately 145,000 medium and small passenger vehicles has been suppressed.

For car dealers, most of the manufacturers in Guangzhou after the purchase limit have given Guangzhou dealers special assessment standards. A Japanese car brand dealer stated that "the living conditions are better than previously expected, and the current main task is to complete the six-month assessment in June. The new policy is definitely beneficial to good factors."

As an important market in South China, Guangzhou has become a vane for each car company to compete for market share. It is understood that from the data of the past two years, the market share of the various departments of the Guangzhou market has indeed changed, and after the implementation of the purchase restriction policy, it has accelerated the change in market share to some extent.

In the past year, the impact of purchase restrictions on individual car brands was mainly on the displacement.

“Under the previous purchase restriction policy, small models are unpopular. If an automobile brand has too many small-displacement models, it will certainly be affected,” said one analyst familiar with the Guangzhou market. For example, he said that before this, the Ford Fiesta is a more popular model in Guangzhou, but after the purchase, some Ford dealers have to spend a long time to digest the stock car.

From the sales data of last year, Japanese cars still occupy a larger share. Among them, FAW Toyota and Dongfeng Nissan still occupy the top two in the South China market.

According to the analysis, the purchase restriction policy has undoubtedly accelerated the penetration of the North and South populace, but this is still only a boost. After the replacement market is started in the future, the German car companies that have an advantage in the B-class car market can further penetrate the South China market and remain to be observed by the market.

Local restrictions on purchase policy surge

According to the analysis, in the past year since the implementation of the purchase restriction policy, the sales volume of the Guangzhou automobile market has been controlled, but the urban transportation has not significantly improved. This makes the purchase restriction policy awkward, and the various imperfect terms in the purchase restriction policy have also reached the point of having to change.
