Qilu Oil Refinery Study "Energy Conservation Handbook" Advocate Saving Concept

Recently, Qilu Oil Refinery has released an "Energy Conservation Knowledge Book" at the factory level, designed to be both easy to understand and comprehensive. This initiative has been well-received by grassroots workshops and teams, who have actively studied the material and embraced a new mindset among employees across the entire facility: "Saving energy is a concept, and improving efficiency is the key." Employees are now taking practical steps to conserve energy and reduce consumption, starting from themselves and acting immediately. For a long time, many workers lacked sufficient awareness of energy conservation. The outdated belief that "the factory is large, so waste doesn't matter" still lingered in some areas. To address this, Qilu Refinery has implemented a series of energy-saving measures, established clear rules and regulations, and set specific energy conservation targets. Significant efforts have been made to eliminate wasteful behaviors such as leaving lights on unnecessarily or allowing water to flow continuously. The refinery has strengthened management over lighting and heat tracing in different departments, regularly inspecting for old, inefficient, and problematic systems. By identifying issues early and making timely corrections, the refinery has achieved remarkable results in reducing energy use and consumption. These efforts not only reflect a commitment to sustainability but also highlight the growing environmental awareness among employees.
