How Packaging Machinery Manufacturing Copes with Rising Raw Material Prices

Since the beginning of this year, rising raw material costs and increasing operational expenses have become a major concern in the packaging machinery manufacturing industry. With the continued enforcement of labor laws and related regulations, labor costs have risen due to reforms in the labor system. Additionally, the appreciation of the Chinese yuan has further strained corporate finances. These economic pressures are especially challenging for low-margin companies in the packaging and paper products sectors, which are now facing multiple difficulties. As profits shrink under mounting pressure, many businesses are searching for ways to adapt and survive. To better understand these challenges, the author conducted an in-depth survey on the issue. I. Enterprises Struggle to Adapt to Changing Conditions, Facing Major Contradictions and Problems Business leaders must clearly recognize and accurately assess the problems and shortcomings within their organizations. A clear mindset and defined strategic direction are essential. Currently, packaging machinery manufacturers face several critical issues: First, there is a lack of alignment with current conditions. This includes outdated thinking that does not match the pace of development, an unsuitable talent structure that fails to meet urgent needs, and a misalignment between personnel management and market economy principles. Second, technical innovation capabilities are weak, with slow progress in process improvements and limited success in developing original products—most new offerings still follow existing models. Third, the growth model remains extensive, with low profit margins and weak competitiveness. Companies still rely heavily on scale rather than efficiency, and resource consumption such as energy and labor lags behind industry benchmarks. Fourth, market awareness, competitive spirit, and a sense of urgency are lacking. Customer service, responsiveness, and responsibility are not strong enough, and human resources cannot keep up with the demand for high-level and fast-paced development. Talent shortages are partly due to slow growth. Fifth, enterprises have not yet achieved efficient and detailed management. Lastly, some managers do not rely on scientific management to drive business growth. Instead, they depend on policy loopholes for short-term survival, showing a "luck-based" mentality. II. Addressing Conflicts and Finding Solutions In the face of unfavorable factors, how can companies overcome these challenges? The author believes the most urgent need is to transform the enterprise's development model. Companies must re-evaluate their current situation from a new starting point, guided by a scientific development concept. They should change their development philosophy, strengthen independent innovation, enhance market awareness, and effectively drive sustainable growth. 1. Innovation in Business Ideas Innovating business concepts includes technological innovation, service innovation, corporate culture development, leadership style transformation, and new incentive methods. These changes align with modern trends and should be implemented in the following ways: First, technological innovation is crucial. Technology plays a key role in a company’s survival and development. Embracing innovation is the fundamental way for modern enterprises to grow and remain competitive. Second, marketing innovation is essential. Developing and applying modern marketing concepts is the foundation for winning the market. On one hand, companies should use advanced information networks to quickly gather and process market data. On the other hand, leveraging online marketing provides cost-effective and flexible strategies, reducing labor costs while expanding customer reach and creating more room for business flexibility.

Air Cooled Heating

The air-cooled induction heating system is an efficient heating solution that combines induction heating technology and the concept of air-cooled heat dissipation. It is mainly used in industrial applications that require fast and precise heating. At the same time, it effectively manages the heat generated during the heating process through forced air cooling, ensuring the stability and safety of the system. This system has a wide range of applications in industries such as metal processing, heat treatment, and electronic manufacturing.
working principle
The air-cooled induction heating system utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction to generate a changing magnetic field in the induction coil through high-frequency or medium frequency current. This magnetic field excites eddy currents in the target metal workpiece, thereby generating thermal energy and achieving rapid heating of the workpiece. In order to prevent the induction coil and other key components from overheating under high-intensity operation, the system is equipped with a strong air cooling mechanism, which uses fans or blowers to forcibly guide air circulation, take away the heat generated by the equipment, and maintain the temperature of the entire system within a safe range.
system composition
Induction heating unit: comprising an induction coil and a power supply, generating high-frequency or medium frequency magnetic fields.
Air cooling system: composed of a fan or blower, which forces air circulation.
Control system: Adjust heating parameters, monitor temperature, and protect the system from overload.
Workpiece support: Ensure the stability of the workpiece during the heating process.
Advantages and Characteristics
Fast heating: High frequency or medium frequency induction heating, short heating time, high efficiency.
Precise control: By adjusting frequency and power, accurate control of heating depth and temperature can be achieved.
Good safety: The air-cooled design reduces system temperature, prolongs service life, and reduces safety hazards.
Environmental protection and energy conservation: Compared to traditional heating methods, it has lower energy consumption and no emissions of exhaust gas and wastewater.
Flexible application: Suitable for workpieces of various metal materials and sizes.
Application scenarios
Metal heat treatment: surface quenching, welding preparation, hot assembly, etc.
Electronic manufacturing: component soldering on PCB boards, semiconductor packaging.
Automotive industry: Heating of components such as bearings, connecting rods, gears, etc.
Aerospace: Heat treatment of special alloy materials.
Jewelry: Processing and repairing of precious metal products.
Development Trends
With the improvement of industrial automation level, air-cooled induction heating systems are developing towards integration and intelligence, adopting more advanced artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technology to achieve remote monitoring and automation control, improving production efficiency and safety. Meanwhile, customized solutions tailored to specific industries are constantly emerging to meet the diverse needs of the market.
