+ SOCKET WELD FITTINGS

A socket weld is a type of pipe connection where the pipe is inserted into a recessed area of a valve, fitting, or flange. Unlike butt-weld fittings, socket weld fittings are typically used for small diameter piping, generally for NPS 2 and smaller. These fittings are ideal for applications requiring high leakage integrity and strong structural performance.

Fillet welds are commonly used in socket weld joints, which provide good sealing and strength. However, due to the abrupt geometry of the fittings, fatigue resistance may be lower compared to butt-welded connections, but it's still better than most mechanical joining methods.
Socket weld fittings are widely used in high-pressure industrial systems and offer reliable performance in various environments.

+THREADED FITTINGS

Threaded joints are one of the oldest methods for connecting piping systems. Like socket weld fittings, they are primarily used for small-diameter piping, typically NPS 2 or smaller. These fittings are known for their ease of installation and reliability in low to medium pressure applications.
