In addition to the new ambulance bus, the CFD has also rolled out 12-Lead ECG monitors in all of its 60 advanced life support (ALS) ambulances. These monitors allow paramedics to quickly detect heart attacks, enabling earlier and more effective treatment.
“This upgrade puts us at the forefront of mobile cardiac diagnostics,†Santiago said. “We're now equipped with the most advanced tools available for treating heart attack patients on the scene.â€
