This is from Dan Shevlin:
Still & Box Alarm at 83rd Street and Marquette. Estimated time of arrival around 0640. Date: 2/23/14. A two-story ordinary building, 50 x 50 feet. Fire reported on the second floor. Two aerial ladders and three fire lines were deployed. Engine 126 had a long stretch due to a frozen hydrant right in front of the building.

The scene was quite intense, with crews working quickly to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading. It’s clear that the firefighters were well-prepared, even with the challenges posed by the frozen hydrant. The photos give a good sense of the scale of the operation and the dedication of the first responders.
