Here's a message from Eric Haak: I took these photos during Chicago’s second still and box alarm on Saturday morning, December 28th. The incident occurred at the same time that fire companies were working at the box on 48th Place. It was interesting to see Squad 1 responding to an incident at 112th and State Street. These images give a glimpse into the night-time operations of the firefighters as they worked with their hose lines in the cold weather.
