Japan THK invests in auto parts production in Changzhou

Recently, the world-renowned multinational company - Japan Co., Ltd. THK and Changzhou National High-tech Zone officially signed a contract for the first phase of 15 million US dollars, the establishment of auto parts production companies, is expected to be completed and put into operation in February 2012. At the meeting with Deputy Mayor Han Jiuyun, THK President Tsukiji Changbo expressed that THK will work hard to build Changzhou’s factory into a main production base and carry out more extensive and in-depth cooperation with Changzhou.

Han Jiuyun stated that THK has developed rapidly since its birth 40 years ago and has established a world-renowned multinational company. THK selected Changzhou and entered Changzhou National Hi-tech Zone, which is not only conducive to the development of THK in China, but also has a positive role in promoting the rapid development of Changzhou Auto Parts Industry.

THK was established in 1971 and listed in Japan with a registered capital of 34 billion yen. With its innovative ideas and unique technologies, THK has pioneered the development of a "linear motion system" and has become an epoch-making product. As an indispensable mechanical key component for the electromechanical industry, THK is widely used in CNC machine tools, industrial robots, and semiconductors. The electromechanical industry is dominated by liquid crystal manufacturing equipment. THK Group has 11 factories in Japan and 11 overseas factories, including 4 in China. Customers include Nissan, Honda, Fuji, Hitachi, General Motors, and Ford.
